I must apologize for the lack of activity in recent months. Due to personal issues/trauma, I was forced to put everything on the back burner. However, as kinks are worked out… events and organization are becoming more of a priority and the 3Darmy will be back in full swing, picking up where it was left off. As with all organizations (in addition to revolutions), it takes time to set up. For those of you who are not aware, the 3Darmy has only been in existence since March of this year. Therefore, as you can imagine, with the immensity of our goals as well as values… it takes a spell to gather.

What I do ask of you is to aid in spreading our word.

Fact is, the more individuals who are connect the more change can happen. Strength comes from numbers.

I waited to see what would come of the Aug. 7th community indifference. I linger around to see if the actual deviantArt “Authorities” would sit up and take notice of the underlying escalation of corporate detestation among the DA community artists/supporters.

My Individual Estimation on Corporate Art:

In recent months I was personally attacked for developing ways to support artists by offering jobs to help build portfolios and am now working on gathering all portfolios and mass publicizing them. In working with so many artists, I have observed that these artists ( much like me ) work hard everyday to have their talent noticed. They dream of doing what they love and being paid for it. Who doesn’t? The fact is: Unless you are a lifetime UNISEF charity case you need money to survive and even more so to enjoy whatever lifestyle you see fit to live. The fact is artists deserve to be paid too.

Unfortunately, for the artists, they yearn so deeply to make it big that they are greatly taken advantage of.

Unfortunately, for the people/corporations who take advantage of the artists, there is a little thing call technology. As Director of Operations/ an artists-poet, and anarchist ( talk about a balancing act ) I use the internet to communicate with clients/associates and friends all over the world. Not only do I but so does everyone else, especially the outstanding citizens of deviantArt.

One factor the Authorities take too lightly is:
The boiling hatred the DA community members/supporters holds against money hungry corporations born from lack of humanity. We are better than that, as the “Ringleader” of , I know how deep this contempt has grown as well as completely aware of the popular opinion. If the dinosaurs could go extinct, so can one little internet district like deviantArt!
No doubt it has many members, but keep in mind that this/ deviant Art was founded on the internet. Anyone ( she coughs **former DA staff members**) could start a DA rip off site. Not only that, but with enough press and attention the dispute will reach its full marketing potential causing key artists in addition to supporters of DA to eventually leave. In conclusion, this particular web city will all be but a ghost town with in a short period of time ( especially if I am involved). To formulate such a destructive force does not require much of attention or time; only support.


Therefore, in the end this feud is far more serious than the deviantArt Powers that Be naively assume!
In the end, the members and supports of DA can easily shut it down, because the number one rule in business is: “It is not what you know, it is who you know”. If all the artists that this Web City called deviantArt is depending on to generate funding ( as well as additional profit for the fat cats upstairs), decided that there is a community out there which better reflects their fundamental beliefs and leaves for it; then DA will be NO MORE. Word does spread fast on the internet, like brushfire in the southwest!


However, I feel that most of the DA artists/supporters do not wish to see this once fine community, abandoned.
In my personal opinion if the structure of the corporation was resituated it would be a great business opportunity for many of its artists. Nevertheless, the DA target market is artists and we do expect to be respected. We are not ignorant, we are not bums… we are people who buy houses, pay bills, and live life albeit in many cases alternatively. We are business people only for the most part with more style than the square suits. As the Ringleader of the 3Darmy, I would like to see this issue resolved immediately with proper compensation given to all parties involved.

5. Expedition of all legal matters to be resolved between Management and the Founders.

6. Institutional intolerance for propaganda and corporate "spin."

With these actions, TRUST will be restored to deviantArt.

There is no excuse for delay.

We all want this mess over with.

I NEED YOUR HELP

This is the first public message I have made revealing who “I” am.
My name is Sarah Lester

For those of you who do not know “I” am the creator of the 3Darmy, however I do not see it as my creation. Instead, I was the one who decided to get up off my ass and use my talents to write and pull people together as the starting fuel. I felt that there was no purpose bitching unless I was willing to do something about it.

I want to make it very clear to everyone that I did not announce myself like this to get public recognition, I don’t care for that in the least bit. My goal is to give all artists around the world their recognition. The 3Darmy is moving to the next level, it will be funded by [link] As you can imagine I have been extremely busy to manage all of my tasks properly and in a timely manner.

I am looking for a group of people to help manage the forum.

With the help of the 3Darmy will have its very own website.

This will combine all of its already pre-existing web pages from various locations and put them all in one spot.

It will have a gallery for all submitted work, but the gallery will be open for all artists, not just those who are featured on but all links and credits will be given just as they are in this forum.

Frustration

We are not getting any help on this website. Everyone is all for saying they support this cause but when it comes time to ask everyone to lend a hand, everyone is closed fisted.
Please do not be like this… there are people that spend a lot of time trying to push this movement forward. At any given moment in a day someone is doing something to help the 3Darmy succeed. Don’t be one of those people who talk the talk but will not walk the walk. We are taking off… as I am sure you understood by the notes you were sent. Now it is time to really start making progress.

WAKE UP CALL:

To make sure that everyone is all on the same page. This forum is not just for DA. It is not a group created to merely waste time and Internet space. It is not a group to repost other works to cluster up the pre-existing galleries of Deviant Art. It is a group to create change. A group to generate intelligent thought. It is not to get page hits or to give fame to the creator of it (the creator does not care if every knows or doesn’t know who she is.) It is not another misuse of time.

The 3Darmy does not ask anyone to “join” because the word in itself is against all the 3D stands for. The only thing we ask for is that everyone supports each other and involves themselves on forum topics as well as creates original work for the gallery< but all of this is contingent on if they choose to do so.

We are irritated with the notion of “groups/clubs” wasting a person’s time by serving nothing but egotism and continuously offering no purpose. We don’t classify ourselves as only for dark art or anime or whatever, we don’t classify ourselves at all because all styles, beliefs and thoughts are welcome here. It is rather moronic to do otherwise. “Moronic” may be a harsh word to use in reference to other factions who discriminate against various styles or thoughts, but the point is: If a persons line of reasoning is logical and held up with a good foundation then why not accept them with open arms?

We discourage other groups who supply no use other than inflating the creator’s self-image as well as recycling already posted work. We do understand that the some of their intentions are to generate attention to fellow artists, however we strive for something more intelligent than just displaying work.

We will also display work from outside artists and post links to their Website from the 3Darmy Deviant Art gallery. To support only DA members is not fair to other artists who have something sharp to say.

We will encourage all genres of art.

We encourage all styles of thinking.
